Blizzard Day was a treat for Seattle Children’s patients and staff
On Wednesday, August 1, Dairy Queen partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Seattle Children’s Hospital to bring joy to patients and their families one Blizzard at a time!
Dairy Queen team members from Marysville, Milton, and Woodinville store locations came together to make and give away 1,500 Blizzards free of charge to patients, their families, and Seattle Children’s staff members in anticipation for Miracle Treat Day the following day. On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more of each Blizzard treat purchased at participating DQ locations was donated to Seattle Children’s to support their numerous programs and services, as well as ground-breaking research.
With three different Blizzard flavors to choose from and a visit from Miss Seattle, this year’s event was fun for everyone. Thank you to our friends at Dairy Queen for being the coolest supporters with the sweetest treats!
