Seattle Children’s celebrates Walmart & Sam’s Club for another successful year

On Wednesday, July 18 Seattle Children’s Hospital celebrated our dedicated Washington Walmart team members for their incredible fundraising efforts that resulted in $324,269 raised in their 2017 Miracle Balloon Campaign!

This year’s thank you luncheon boasted the highest attendance of Walmart team members to date. Attendees enjoyed brunch and a program before being recognized by store for their hard work. This year’s highest fundraising location was the Tumwater Walmart which raised an astounding $23,344 for Seattle Children’s programs and services!

Walmart and Sam’s Clubs philanthropic nature will reach new heights this year as they reach $1 billion in funds donated to various organizations across the country since 1987.
