Meet the Seattle Children’s CMNH Team: Betsy Rand

It has been said many times before that “teamwork makes the dream work,” and here at Seattle Children’s we could not agree more with that sentiment when it comes to our Children’s Miracle Network ladies! Today we have the pleasure of introducing one of the passionate, driving forces behind our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program, Betsy Rand.

Betsy has been with the Children’s Miracle Network team at Seattle Children’s for three and a half years, and when asked what brought her to this line of work, it was all about giving back.

I have been giving to Seattle Children’s for over 17 years. My current role affords me the opportunity to spend my professional career engaging with our incredible and inspiring patient families, Seattle Children’s staff that save lives every day and with community members who are committed to our cause,” Betsy said. “I feel incredibly fortunate to directly impact the mission of helping every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.

An active member of the organization, Betsy’s favorite part about Children’s Miracle Network is the chance to work with others.

We have the opportunity in our work to collaborate and share best practices with 169 other children’s hospitals. There is great value in working together toward the same objective of helping to provide funds and resources for sick and injured patients and families.

Seattle Children’s Hospital is so grateful to have such a dedicated and mission-driven teammate. Thank you for all that you do Betsy!
