September Is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month: For kids like Seely, every gift counts!
Cancer is the #1 cause of disease-related death for children. Approximately one in every 257 children in the USA will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday. Yet less than 8% of federal funding for cancer research is directed toward pediatric cancer research. Our children deserve better.
Last year, 2,383 new patients enrolled in 722 research studies and clinical trials at Seattle Children’s. These studies and clinical trials represent hope for children like Seeley who need the treatments of the future to thrive today. Gifts from our generous community help make those trials possible.
Your support of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month will accelerate cures for kids who desperately need them.
