Seattle Extra Life Raises More Than $2M in 2024
The Seattle Extra Life community has done it once again!
THANK YOU for supporting the life-saving treatments, innovative research, and transformational pediatric care at Seattle Children’s.
Your fundraising helps us provide important resources and care for kids every day. More than 100 years ago, Seattle Children’s was founded by a group of philanthropic women to care for children regardless of race, religion, gender or a family’s ability to pay. Their generous spirit remains as Seattle Children’s continues to provide specialized care to all kids who need us, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Our experts, with the support of donors and volunteers, provide clinical care and research in the relentless pursuit to improve lives today and create better tomorrows for hundreds of thousands of kids every year.
How can you get involved?
Live Streamers
If you’re a streamer, you can host Extra Life charity streams to ask your subscribers, viewers, and community to make donations to your fundraising page. Incentivize donations by offering to perform various challenges when people donate certain amounts and when you reach certain fundraising milestones.
Gaming Communities
If you’re part of a tabletop, roleplay, or board game community, organize a special fundraising event and invite your gaming club to donate and/or help plan and host the event. For example, you can charge an entry fee, collect sponsors, sell food, and offer re-rolls – all for donations to your Extra Life campaign.
ESports Teams
Organize a tournament where the entry fee is a donation. Collect more donations by selling sponsorships, food, and additional merch.
Casual Gamers
If you like to play games with a small group of friends or family, schedule a day that everyone knows will be a special fundraising Game Day. Collab with them to determine how much each person should raise or donate and how you can make your gaming experience special on that day because you’re raising money to change kids’ lives.
