Making Magic for Seattle Children’s Autism Center – Wizards of the Coast + Extra Life

It’s that time of year again! Wizards of the Coast is proud to be raising funds for Extra Life, benefitting Seattle Children’s Hospital and we could not be more thrilled!   Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Extra Life community and our friends at Wizards of the Coast, the Autism Center received an outstanding gift last year of nearly $750,000 to support program development, expansion, family support, training and more.  The unmatched generosity from these groups has been a lifesaver, and game changer during these difficult times in history.

But they can’t stop!  Our amazing friends at Extra Life and Wizards of the Coast are at it again, going above and beyond to raise funds and awareness for Seattle Children’s Autism Center.  For the past 10 years, the Extra Lifers have streamed live gaming, bringing fun and competition together to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Local Extra Lifers have creatively brought to life one of the most anticipated gaming events of the year- and they do it with passion, innovation and unmatched dedication for their community.

This year Wizards of the Coast is raising the bar again with hopes of raising more money than ever through a dedicated Secret Lair drop, Extra Life streams, auctions for uncut sheets and more. Magic the Gathering enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Secret Lair: Extra Life 2020 will be available to preorder on beginning 9 a.m. PT November 6 through 9 a.m. PT November 9. The cost is $60, and Wizards of the Coast will donate $30 to Seattle Children’s Hospital for each copy of Secret Lair: Extra Life 2020 sold.

The four premium foil alternate-art cards in this Secret Lair drop illustrate the importance of family and children with brand-new art on some of our favorite cards.

There are endless ways to get involved and participate in this annual tradition!  Read more here to learn about auctions, live streaming, swag and more!

To our friends at Wizards of the Coast, Extra Life and Magic the Gathering- thank you for continuing to make Magic for all of our families living with autism spectrum disorders!
