Celebrate Root Beer Float Day with Marriott in August

National Root Beer Float Day holds a special place for Marriott. Founders J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott launched their 9-seat A&W Root Beer stand in Washington, D.C. to cool off from the summer heat. From there, the Marriott family expanded their business into what we know today as a leader in the hospitality industry.

To honor their history and legacy, local Marriott properties will host Root Beer Float socials during the month of August to benefit Seattle Children’s. Funds raised ensure that kids treated at our hospital receive the best possible care.

Stop by these hotels on the dates indicated for a delicious root beer float and donate in support of kids and families treated at Seattle Children’s.
