Bender’s 17th #OneBigKISS Raises Over $806,334!

For the 17th time, 106.1 KISS FM‘s Bender & Molly aired their all-day broadcast live from Seattle Children’s Hospital Wednesday.  Thanks to their efforts, they rallied their listeners to give $806,334.47 at the end of the radiothon.

You might notice Bender was a little hairier than normal.  Instead of a rally beard, he grew a “tally beard”, challenging listeners to join the KISS Club…if 1000 or more signed up, he’d shave it live on the air.  KISS’ listeners responded and at 8 a.m. Thursday, the razor came out!

Proceeds of #OneBigKISS go to the hospital’s Children’s Greatest Needs Fund.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothons are broadcasted on over 350 radio stations each year. Stations engage listeners with inspiring stories of Miracle Children from area communities and ask listeners to call in and pledge support for local kids.
