Meet Aiyana

At birth, Aiyana’s heart was clearly not working. She had her first heart transplant when she was just 9 months old. Now 9 years old, Aiyana’s life is a very special miracle. She is one of only three kids her age in the country to have received three heart transplants.  As you can imagine, the cost of Aiyana’s extensive medical care is into the millions.  To this day, her family has not received one bill from Seattle Children’s thanks to the uncompensated care program.
