Celebrate Panda Cares Day with Panda Express on August 8 and help Seattle Children’s

Seattle Children’s is excited to celebrate Panda Cares Day on August 8. Why? Because Panda Express is hosting a one-day virtual fundraiser for area kids treated at Seattle Children’s. When a guest places an order on the Panda Express mobile app or website using the promo code “PandaCaresDay”, Panda will donate 28 percent of online sales to young patients and their families.

Donations collected year round at local Panda Express locations have helped kids like Oliver.

Looking at this energetic toddler today, you’d never guess he required lifesaving surgery five days after his premature birth. Oliver faced unthinkable odds, but his fighting spirit – combined with Seattle Children’s expert care – gave him a new lease on life.

Brandi and Tyler Harrington, Oliver’s parents, know first hand that these donations matter in the lives of children in our region. “We know many people make financial sacrifices to support Seattle Children’s, and we wish we could write a thank-you card to every person who donates and makes care possible for families like ours. Your kindness will impact us for a lifetime – Oliver’s lifetime! – and we appreciate your generosity more than words can ever say.”

Additionally, Seattle Children’s is excited to recognize Panda for the $359,862 in donations made in 2019 that will continue to help in our community and transform how we meet the most urgent needs, save more lives and protect our collective future.
